Cooking dinner can quite be a challenging chore sometimes. Maybe you’re tired, maybe you’re just starting to learn how to cook, or maybe you ran out of groceries and you need to do something that doesn’t require a lot of ingredients. Or maybe you’re just lazy. It doesn’t matter. We have gathered a couple of recipes that require no more than 5 ingredients for you to try at home. We’ve already tried them ourselves so we can vouch for the reliability and the good taste of these recipes. Let’s get started!

3-Ingredient Teriyaki Chicken

Ingredients (for 4 servings)

  • 2lb chicken thighs (910 g) sliced into chunks
  • 1 cup of soy sauce (240mL)
  • ½ cup of brown sugar (110g)

Prepare & Cook

  • Pan sear the chicken thighs evenly in a pan until it turns golden brown, then flip
  • Add soy sauce and brown sugar, then stir until it boils
  • Stir until the sauce has reduced and evenly grazes the chicken

That’s eat! Sorry, we mean… that’s it. Personally, when cooking this recipe, we reduce the amount of suggested soy sauce and brown sugar because if we don’t, it becomes too sweet and salty. You can do the same for better results! You may also use chicken breasts instead of chicken thighs for a healthier meal and eat it with rice for a fuller experience.

  • Spread 1 to 2 tbsp of chocolate at the bottom of each cupcake liner
  • Add 1 to 2 tbsp of peanut butter on top of the chocolate
  • Cover the peanut butter by adding more chocolate at the top
  • Refrigerate for an hour or until chocolate has hardened.

Yum! You may also mix sugar with the peanut butter as the original recipe suggests, but personally, we think the whole thing is already sweet enough.
