Tasting Notes Medium to deep red. Attractive, fragrant red and black currant fruit with gentle aromas of crushed violets with hints of cedar and cigar box – the oak very much in the background as usual. Medium bodied, displaying good concentration of fruit, subtle French oak, well balanced acidity and lovely, fine tannins. The length of flavor and overall elegance of the wine are highlights. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (75%) and Cabernet Franc (25%) – the Franc adds lovely perfume as well as some flesh to the wine.
